(Portland, OR)  --  The Timbers are preparing to host the LA Galaxy in the US Open Cup Wednesday at Providence Park.  Portland is riding high after defeating Seattle in the fourth round of the cup competition last week.  The Timbers will resume MLS action when they host the Houston Dynamo on Saturday.
