(Eugene, OR)  --  The Oregon Ducks have signed Mark Waikowski as the new head coach of the baseball team.  Wasikowski signed a five-year contract worth a total of $1.75 million, with a starting salary of 325-thousand and increasing each year.  That's 30 percent less than the 500-thousand UO was paying George Horton the past two years.
