What a difference a night makes in the Westcoast Collegiate summer league. Tuesday night in Yakima, The Bend Elks started their 6-game road trip out with a 1-zip shutout loss to the Pippins.

Last night, both teams combined for 24-runs on 25-hits, and the teams used a total of 10-Pitcher combined, and again Yakima prevailed with the Pippins beating the Elks, 13-11.

And, each team committed 3-errors in the game.

They will finish the series tonight as Yakima goes for the sweep with first pitch set for 635. You can follow the game online at ‘Bend Elks dot Com.’
