NWSL-Record Attendance Watches Thorns Beat NC Courage

(Portland, OR)  --  A league record crowd took in a rematch of the 2018 NWSL Championship Game as the Portland Thorns beat the North Carolina Courage 2-1 Sunday.  Twenty-five-thousand-two-hundred-18 fans watched at Providence Park as the Thorns got revenge for the 3-0 loss last season.  The previous record had been 23,403, which was set in 2016 between the Orlando Pride and Houston Dash.
