(Portland, OR)  --  The Timbers extended their 10-game home winning streak as they beat the Vancouver Whitecaps 3-1 at Providence Park Saturday.  Sebastian Blanco scored in the 28th minute, Marvin Loria scored in the 55th, and Jeremy Ebobisse scored in the 90th.  The Tims remain in eighth in the West with 34 points in 23 matches, but are only five points behind the Sounders, who are in second.  The Caps have a conference-worst 24 points in 26 matches.  Portland will host the Chicago Fire Wednesday.
