Former Trail Blazer Jim Marsh Dies

(Undated)  --  Former Trail Blazer Jim Marsh died Monday in a Portland-area facility.  He was 73.  A big name in the Seattle sports community, Marsh had lived with Parkinson's disease since 2004.  The 6-foot-7 former forward was taken 11th overall by the Sonics in the 1968 draft after playing at USC.  However, he played his entire 39 game career with the Trail Blazers.  After his career in the NBA, he served as a mentor to young players in the city as a member of the Friends of Hoops AAU team in Seattle.
