(Portland, OR)  --  The Timbers second-half homestand will continue Sunday when they welcome DC United to Providence Park.  This will be Portland's seventh-straight home match, having gone 4-and-2 thus far.  Most recently, the Tims beat Sporting Kansas City 2-1 Saturday.  They are in sixth place in the Western Conference with 43 points through 28 matches, and are just three points behind the second-place Sounders.
