Storm's Season Over After Falling to Sparks

(Los Angeles, CA)  --  The Storm's long season is over.  They lost 92-69 to the Sparks in Los Angeles in the single-game second round of the WNBA's Western Conference Playoffs.  Natasha Howard scored 20 points and pulled down 11 rebounds, while Mercedes Russell had 10 points and eight boards.  Seattle was outscored 25-11 in the final period.  Chelsea Gray had 21 points and eight assists and Candace Parker added 11 points, 10 rebounds and six assists for Derek Fisher's LA squad.  The Storm played the entire season without Miss MVP of Everything Brianna Stewart and veteran point guard Sue Bird.  Both are expected back next season.
