(Seattle, WA)  --  The opening of the new and improved Key Arena is on track to open in the summer of 2021, in time for the new NHL team to begin play in October.  The building has been completely gutted in advance of a 930-million-dollar renovation.  For now, the 44-million-pound roof is being held up by a series of temporary steel support beams.  Aside from the hockey season, the renovation needs to be ready for the June start to the Seattle Storm season and the NHL Draft.
