Timbers Shut Out For Third-Straight Match, Earn Draw

(Portland, OR)  --  Despite forcing the Minnesota United keeper to make 12 saves, the Timbers earned a nil-nil draw against the Loons Sunday at Providence Park.  It's the third-straight match Portland has been shut out.  A potential penalty was denied after an apparent handball in the box in the 87th minute.  The Tims haven't won since September 7th and are tied for the seventh and final playoff spot in the West with San Jose.
