(Milan, Italy) -- United States star and former Portland State standout Megan Rapinoe is FIFA's best female soccer player. The 34-year-old Rapinoe captained the US Women's Team to a World Cup championship in France, winning the Golden Ball for best player and the Golden Boot for most goals. She beat out Alex Morgan and English forward Lucy Bronze for the FIFA award. In other news, Barcelona's women's side is interested in acquiring the Reign FC midfielder. Rapinoe played abroad for the 2013-14 season with Lyon.
