(Renton, WA) -- Jadaveon Clowney's hip injury is related to a sports hernia, Pete Carroll said Monday. As to why it wasn't treated during the Seahawks' bye week, the head coach said it wasn't initially clear the injury required a visit to a specialist. However, following a trip to a doctor in Philadelphia Friday, he was inactive for Sunday's game against the Eagles. Now, Carroll says Clowney is feeling good and he's looking forward to playing Monday against Minnesota.
