(Malibu, CA)  --  Holland Woods scored 23 points but it wasn't enough as Portland State fell 77-71 to Pepperdine in Malibu. Matt Hauser was the only other Viking in double figures as he poured in 14 points in the loss as the team fell to 5-and-6 on the year and 1-and-5 away from home.  Portland State will stay in southern California when they visit Loyola Marymount tomorrow night.
