(Undated)  --  In college basketball, number-10 Oregon survived an upset bid by Texas Southern to win 84-78 in Eugene Saturday.  Payton Prichard scored 29 points, including eight in the final minute, while Will Richardson chipped in 18 off the bench.  The Ducks are 10-and-2.  Elsewhere Saturday, Oregon State fell to 9-and-2, losing 64-49 to Texas A&M in College Station.  Tres Tinkle scored 21 and was the only Beaver in double-figures.  Yesterday, Malcolm Porter had 11 as the Pilots fell 81-56 to Houston in Honolulu.  The local teams will be off this week for the holidays.
