(Portland, OR)  --  Diego Valeri's 56th minute PK tied the game at one-apiece, but two late goals by the Loons lifted Minnesota United over the Timbers 3-1 Sunday at Providence Park.  Felipe Mora thought he drew Portland within one in the third minute of stoppage, but he was whistled offside after beating Minnesota keeper Steve Clark.  The Tims will be back at Providence Park next weekend when they host new expansion club Nashville SC on Sunday.
