(Scottsdale, AZ)  --  Justus Sheffield struck out five over three innings, but the Mariners lost 8-4 to the Giants.  The southpaw gave up an earned run on three hits and no walks.  JP Crawford had a triple and a pair of RBI in the loss as the M's fell to 4-and-11.  Seattle will visit the Brewers today.
