(New York, NY)  --  Expanded playoffs are coming to the NFL.  The NFL and its owners confirmed a vote to expand one playoff team per conference for a total of two additional playoff teams. 14 teams in total will now make the playoffs with seven being added from each conference.  There will now be three games per conference during Wild Card weekend.  Only the top overall seed will have byes and the number two seed will host the lowest seed.
