(Undated)  --  The NHL is reportedly working on a playoff format should it resume its season amid the ongoing coronavirus.  According to ESPN, the league is working on a 24-team, conference based format for the playoffs.  The top four seeds in each conference based on points percentage, would receive a bye in the first round.  Seeds five-through-twelve would play a best-of-five play-in series.
