(New York, NY)  --  Nearly 60 NFL players are testing positive for coronavirus as training camps are just a week away.  After previously reporting 95 cases, the Players' Association updated its count and confirmed 59 infections.  The league also approved the Infectious Disease Emergency Response plans for eight teams with 24 in review.  This comes after the NFL announced plans to test players every day for the first two weeks of camp and switch to every other week if the positivity rate is below five-percent.  Players have been vocal about the NFL's need to prioritize proper health and safety protocols before starting the season this fall.
