(Flushing, NY)  --  The Mets are adding former Oakland A's catcher Bruce Maxwell.  Newsday reports the two sides have agreed to a deal pending a physical and coronavirus testing.  Maxwell hasn't played in the majors since 2018.  He's remembered as the first MLB player to take a knee during the anthem in 2017.
