Dodgers Drop Padres, Clinch Playoff Spot

(San Diego, CA)  --  A.J. Pollock and Chris Taylor both homered as the Dodgers held off the Padres for a 7-5 win in San Diego.  Will Smith drove in three runs for LA, which took two-of-three in the series and clinched a playoff berth for the eighth straight season.  The Dodgers now hold a three-and-a-half game lead on the Friars for first place in the NL West.  Adam Kolarek picked up the win and Pedro Baez posted his second save.  The Dodgers visit the Rockies today.
