Chiefs Rally Past Chargers In OT

(Inglewood, CA)  --  The reigning champion Chiefs needed overtime to earn a 23-20 win against the Chargers at brand new SoFi Stadium.  Harrison Butker nailed the tying field goal on the final play of regulation before hitting the winning kick from 58 yards with 1:55 left in OT.  Rookie first-round pick Justin Herbert got the surprise start at quarterback affter Tyrod Taylor was injured in warmups.  He threw for 311 yards, one touchdown and one interception and rushed for a score in his NFL debut.  The Bolts fell to 1-and-1.
