Saints Surge Past Chargers In OT

(New Orleans, LA)  --  Will Lutz made the go-ahead field goal in overtime as the Saints surged past the Chargers 30-27 on Monday Night Football in New Orleans.  Chargers kicker Michael Badgley missed a field goal at the end of regulation that would have won the game for L.A.  Rookie quarterback Justin Herbert threw for 264 yards and four touchdowns in defeat for the Chargers, who blew a 17-point lead.  Badgley also missed an extra point in the loss.  Mike Williams hauled in five catches for 109 yards and two scores as L.A. fell to 1-and-4.
