(New York, NY)  --  The NFL is confirming eight players tested positive for COVID-19 during their most recent round of testing last week.  The league announced that 11 staff members also tested positive for the virus during the week of October 11th through 17th.  Nearly 78-hundred people were tested in all.  The NFL is now up to 47 players and 71 staffers who have tested positive since they began testing on August 1st.
