(Seattle, WA) -- The Mariners could not get the bats going against the Orioles, falling 5-3 in the series opener at T-Mobile Park. The loss was the second in three games for the Mariners, who now sit two games behind the A's for first place in the AL West. The teams will get back at it this evening.
