(Washington, DC)  --  The Supreme Court is allowing college athletes to receive benefits.  The High Court ruled 9-0 against the NCAA Monday in a case involving a player from the West Virginia University and other student athletes. The athletes argued the NCAA's restrictions on education-related benefits such as paid internships, computers, and other equipment, violated federal antitrust law.  The ruling is a blow to the NCAA, striking down some of its long-held "amateurism" rules.  The ruling comes just as some states are pushing for student-athletes to receive monetary compensation.
