A's Go Up Big Early, Beat Rangers

(Arlington, TX) -- The A's had 15 hits as the team beat the Rangers 13-6 in Arlington. Mark Canha, Ramon Laureano and Elvis Andrus tallied three hits each for Oakland. Third baseman Matt Chapman launched his ninth long ball of the year with a two-run homer in the first. The A's led 9-to-zero after the third. Southpaw Cole Irvin notched his fifth win, pitching five innings and striking out four. Oakland snaps a three-game losing skid. The team continues the series tonight.
