Kershaw Fans 13, Dodgers Beat Cubs

(Los Angeles, CA) -- Clayton Kershaw struck out 13 batters as the Dodgers beat the Cubs 7-1 at home. The southpaw picked up his ninth win, throwing eight frames and allowing just four hits. The 13 strikeouts were Kershaw's most since July 9th, 2017 against the Royals. Zack McKinstry hit a grand slam in the second to break open scoring for Los Angeles. Cody Bellinger homered for his second straight game with a two-run blast. The Dodgers have won three straight. They start a series at home against the Giants tonight.
