Starting tomorrow, college athletes in Oregon will be able to sign contracts to make money from endorsements.  Oregon Governor Kate Brown signed a bill passed by the Legislators that allows athletes at public and private universities to receive compensation for use of the name, image and likeness. Seven states have already passed similar legislation and 13 other states have passed bills that will take effect soon.
