(Portland, OR)  --  Major League Soccer announced that it was not able to corroborate an allegation that a Minnesota United player made a racist comment to Timbers midfielder Diego Chara.  Minnesota United will not face any sanctions.  MLS said in a statement that it interviewed match official and players and examined audio and video footage from the match.  The incident came up on June 26 when the Portland fell to Minnesota 1-0 at home.
