(San Francisco, CA)  --  Alex Wood threw seven innings as the Giants beat the Cardinals 5-2 at home.  The lefty allowed only three hits and struck out six to earn his eighth win.    Jake McGee shut down the ninth for his 17th save.  The Giants have won four of their last six and sit a game-and-a-half ahead of the Dodgers in the NL West.  They welcome the Nationals at home tomorrow night.
