(Santa Clara, CA)  --  The San Francisco 49ers are shelling out big bucks to make Fred Warner the highest-paid linebacker in the NFL.  Reports say Warner has agreed to a five-year contract extension for 95-million-dollars.  More than 40-million-dollars of the contract is guaranteed.  The 24-year-old Warner has averaged more than 120 tackles a year over his first three seasons with the 49ers.  He was named an NFL First-Team All-Pro linebacker in 2020.
