Braves, Mets Split Doubleheader

(Flushing, NY) -- The Braves and Mets traded wins to split their doubleheader in Flushing. Atlanta won Game One 2-0, behind a pitching gem from Kyler Muller. The southpaw allowed just four hits in five scoreless frames for the Braves. Joc Pederson and Orlando Arcia each knocked in a run, while Will Smith collected his 20th save. New York took Game Two 1-0 to split the day. Jeff McNeil recorded two hits, doubling in the lone run of the game in the fifth. Trevor May got his third win and Edwin Diaz secured his 22nd save. The Braves have split their last four games and the Mets have won four of their last six games.
