(Los Angeles, CA) -- Max Scherzer brought the energy in his Dodgers debut as the team beat the Astros 7-5 in Los Angeles. The three-time CY Young award winner recorded 10 strikeouts and allowed only two runs over seven frames to get his first win with his new club. Mookie Betts mashed two home runs, with Will Smith and AJ Pollock also going deep for Los Angeles. The Dodgers have won three of their last four.
