Legendary College Football Coach Bobby Bowden Dies

(Tallahassee, FL) -- Legendary college football coach Bobby Bowden is dead. He was 91. The head coach revealed last month that he'd been diagnosed with terminal cancer. He'd already endured a battle with COVID-19 in October of 2020. Bowden coached Florida State for 34 years and was the second winningest coach in Division One history with 357 wins to his credit. Florida State won the National Championship in 1993 and 1999 with Bowden at the helm. FSU confirmed that Bowden passed away this morning surrounded by his wife Ann and all six of their children.
