Topps' 70-Year Deal With MLB Comes To An End

(Undated)  --  The sports trading card world is watching the end of an era.  MLB is ending it's 70-year deal with trading card giant Topps.  Instead, the MLB and Fanatics are striking an exclusive licensing agreement.  Topps' deal with Major League Baseball will wrap up in 2025.  The company first began producing baseball cards in 1951.  Fanatics' deal with the MLB is expected to generate over two billion dollars by 2045.
