(Anaheim, CA)  --  The Los Angeles Angels won't be sending Shohei Ohtani to the mound this week.  The two-way superstar is skipping his scheduled start as he gives his right hand some extra time to heal.  Ohtani was hit in his pitching hand during the Angels' game against the San Diego Padres on Saturday.  The Athletic reported the X-Rays on his hand came back negative, but Ohtani will still miss the start.  The injury didn't affect his ability to hit as he remains in the starting lineup and hit a home run against the New York Yankees on Monday.
