US Open Day Two Roundup

(Flushing, NY)  --  The US Open continues as the best tennis players in the world compete in New York.  On the men's side, world number-1 Novak Djokovic won his opening match with a four-set victory over Holger Rune.  Fourth-seeded Alexander Zverev cruised past American Sam Querrey in a three-set sweep.  Ninth-seeded Pablo Carreno Busta was upset in five-sets by Maxime Cressy.  On the women's side, top-seeded Ashleigh Barty advanced to Round Two with a two-set win over Vera Zvonareva.  American woman Amanda Anisimova was victorious, setting her up with a match against Number-4 seed Karolina Pliskova on Thursday.
