Dodgers Clinch Playoff Spot, Beat D-Backs

(Los Angeles, CA)  --  The Dodgers are booking their ticket into the postseason.  Tony Gonsolin threw five shutout innings as Los Angeles beat the Diamondbacks 8-4 in Los Angeles.  The right-hander allowed only two hits and struck out six to earn his third win of the year.  Max Muncy, Trea Turner and Will Smith all homered for the Dodgers, who have won five straight and became the second team to clinch a playoff spot.  Ketel Marte racked up three hits and three RBI for Arizona, which has lost eight of its last 10.  Luke Weaver was dealt his fifth loss, allowing four runs over four frames.
