(Henderson, NV) -- Jon Gruden has resigned as head coach of the Raiders. Gruden informed his staff of his intention to resign as more past emails surfaced that featured homophobic and misogynistic comments. This follows a report from an email from 2011 where Gruden made a racist comment about NFLPA Executive Director DeMaurice Smith. Raiders owner Mark Davis reportedly met with Gruden and was informed of the decision. Rich Bisaccia will serve as interim coach effective immediately.
