(Seattle, WA) -- The Huskies have a new football coach. Washington hired Fresno State head coach Kalen DeBoer on Monday. DeBoer comes off a 9-and-3 season with Fresno and was the offensive coordinator for the Indiana Hoosiers in 2019. He was also the three-time NAIA National Coach of the Year at the University of Sioux Falls in the 2000s and left that job with a 67-and-3 record. DeBoer replaces Jimmy Lake, who was fired by U-dub on November 14th after less than two seasons in charge.
