Carroll Asked Adrian Peterson If He Wanted To Coach

(Renton, WA) -- The Seahawks brought in Adrian Peterson for his skills on the field, but do they see something more in the future Hall of Famer? The Tacoma News Tribune reports that Pete Carroll asked Peterson if he wanted to be an assistant coach after seeing his work ethic behind the scenes. The 36-year-old running back said he still wants to play. Peterson rushed for 16 yards and one touchdown in one game with Seattle before being placed on injured reserve with a lower back injury.
