The Tacoma News Tribune reports that Pete Carroll asked Peterson if he wanted to be an assistant coach after seeing his work ethic behind the scenes. The 36-year-old running back said he still wants to play. Peterson rushed for 16 yards and one touchdown in one game with Seattle before being placed on injured reserve with a lower back injury.
