(Portland, OR) -- The Timbers terminated the contract of midfielder Andy Polo after he was suspended by Major League Soccer amid domestic violence allegations. Polo allegedly abused his ex-wide in Beaverton on May 23rd. His ex-wife accused him of domestic violence on a popular Peruvian television program on Tuesday. The Oregonian is also reporting that Timbers team officials came to their residence after the incident and Polo's ex-wife said the team knew of the domestic violence allegations against Polo.
