Blazers Sign Trendon Watford

(Portland, OR) -- The Blazers are investing in one of their young bench players. Portland signed forward Trendon Watford to a four-year deal worth 5.8 million dollars. The 21-year-old undrafted rookie is averaging 4.5 points and 3.2 rebounds in 33 games this season. The Blazers waived Dennis Smith Jr. in a corresponding move. Portland also signed Drew Eubanks to a 10-day contract and Brandon Williams to a two-year, two-way deal. The Blazers host the Warriors on Thursday.
