Rams' Whitworth Announces Retirement

(Undated) -- Andrew Whitworth is hanging up his cleats, just a month after winning the Super Bowl. The Rams left tackle announced his retirement on Tuesday, putting an end to his 16-year NFL career. Whitworth started 15 games in the regular season for Los Angeles and made three starts in the team's four playoff games. The final being Super Bowl 56, which gave the 40-year-old his first Super Bowl ring. Whitworth was a four-time Pro Bowler and won the 2021 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award.
