On the college diamond, just as soon as Oregon State's baseball team elevated to #5 in the country in this week's d-1 baseball ratings, the Beavs were defeated yesterday at home losing to Grand Canyon, 13-t0-7.

The Beavs jump back into league play Friday hosting Arizona state in a 3-game weekend series, and the Ducks entertain Utah.
