N-I-T and other College Basketball

Meantime...the N-I-T men's tourney heads to the quarterfinals tomorrow, and the Oregon Ducks will be absent after Texas A&M ended the Ducks season with a 75-to-60 win.

Washington State advances in the N-I-T to play at BYU Wednesday night.

And, the C-B-I, college basketball invitational tournament has 4-quarterfinal games tonight with the winners meeting tomorrow in the semifinals.

On the women's side...the lady Ducks of Oregon were terminated in the NCAA women's tourney Saturday afternoon.

Belmont defeated Oregon in Knoxville, 73-70. Also eliminated from the PAC-12 was Utah who lost to Texas, 78-56. Washington State lost to Kansas State, 50-to-40.

Meantime, top-ranked Stanford cruised to a 91-65 win over Kansas. 

#4 seed Arizona scored a 72-67 win over UNLV and tonight faces North Carolina with the winner joining Stanford who plays Maryland Friday in the women's 'sweet-16.'

Elsewhere, the women's N-I-T tourney has 9-games on tap tonight with the winners moving on to the nit 3rd round where Thursday night oregon state will host New Mexico. 

Also Thursday, UCLA women play at Wyoming.
