(Atlanta, GA) -- The Falcons announced they agreed to a two-year deal with Marcus Mariota. The contract is reportedly worth 18.75-million dollars. Mariota reunites with Falcons coach Arthur Smith, who was the offensive coordinator for the Tennessee Titans when Mariota was there. The 28-year-old Mariota spent the past two seasons as a backup QB with the Las Vegas Raiders. This comes after Atlanta traded longtime quarterback Matt Ryan to the Indianapolis Colts on Monday.
