(Goodyear, AZ) -- The Mariners are taking a loss in their Spring Training finale. Seattle fell 12-9 to the Reds in Goodyear, Arizona. Chris Flexen struggled, allowing seven runs over four innings. Jarred Kelenic and Eugenio Suárez each went deep in the loss. Cincinnati and Seattle each score five runs in an explosive eighth inning. That completes the preseason slate for the Mariners as they turn their attention to the regular season.
