Mariners Fall To Twins

(Minneapolis, MN) -- The Mariners are coming away with a split in their opening series of the season. Seattle fell 4-0 to the Twins in Minneapolis. The Mariners managed only two hits and struck out five times in the losing effort. Chris Flexen was tagged with the loss after giving up three runs on five hits in four-and-a-third innings. The M's have lost two in a row. Seattle sends right-hander Matt Brash to the mound this afternoon against the White Sox.
